CC Goes to Preschool!

On an early morning early in September, CC got up, ate breakfast, let me do her hair, climbed into the car and headed to her first day of preschool! Hooray! She and I were both so ready for her to go. She has two very young, energetic, sweet teachers.

Cedar is going to the same preschool Tanner attended a couple years ago. She is in the T Th class from 9-11:30. It works out well for us. I drop her off and take Bridger to the gym. By the time I am done I have just enough time to go home, shower, and head back to pick her up.

Cedar loves it. The structure is fantastic for her. She's told me that her shape on the carpet is a purple oval. She loves the songs and sings them in the car on the way home. She loves her teachers, and values their opinions of her clothes very highly. That is extremely annoying; I don't know where here three-year-old vanity comes from. She is such a drama queen about getting dressed. It's gotten better; I threatened to carry her out to the car in her panties, and she has started to cooperate a little more. In an attempt to make putting long sleeve shirts on Cedar less of a blood bath in the mornings, I asked one of her teachers to tell her how much she loves to wear long sleeves. Almost every day when CC walks in Mrs. Braze says "Cedar, I love your long sleeves! Look, I'm wearing long sleeves too! They are so fun and pretty!" It has helped some, and I will take what I can get!!

Cedar is very independent and does not miss a beat. She is absolutely aware that Tanner is her older brother and does not want to be left behind in any sense of anything. She watches Tanner like a hawk and emulates him any way she can.

She loves her daddy. They have a sweet relationship and I love hearing them talk to each other.
No matter how much work she is, Ryon loves his Cedar!

When I think of how hard Cedar was last year at Christmastime, I am relieved a little. She was so hard last year, and is doing much better. She is easier to reason with than she has ever been. If I remember to empower her as much as I can, we do better.
