Each night the three Buzz's and their books go home with a student. The student writes a little something and/or draws a picture about what they did at home. I was most impressed when Tanner pulled out the Buzz book when he got home and started working. The first time Tan brough Buzz home I wrote in the book. The second time I helped him with each letter of each word, which yes, took forever and was a little painful. Today, however, Tan pulled out the book, grabbed a pen, and started writing. This is what he came up with:
Translation: "I am so happy to get Buzz for the fifth time. (I helped him with the silent 'e'in 'time') We wrestled. We watched a movie. (I helped him spell watched, he then got distracted after writing it and didn't finish the sentence) We had dinner. Tanner, 6 (age). Then he decided to add 'Jensen'". The 12 is his number in class, and it usually goes after his name on all his assignments. I actually have no idea what the last line is. I didn't see him write it.
My favorite is resold. "We resold." Awesome, Tan. I love it. And yes, that probably is how it should be spelled.
My little man is growing up. I love him so much and love seeing his progress. He is my sweet, sweet boy, and I am so happy that he loves school so much.

That is awesome. Isn't it so fun when they learn to read and write? It's gotta be one of the best feelings as a mom. Way to go Tanner!! Resold... Lol that is awesome.
Oh I love it. What a good student he is. It makes me miss reading students papers....a little. Good Job Tan! Good job to you Annie for recording this progress. That is something I need to work on.
