Well, the only ones I have found have two problems: Too expensive and they do not match Cedar's room, which I have recently redecorated in a lime green and different shades of pink.
So I just happened to be on homemadebyjill.blogspot.com this morning, which is a fabulous blog by a mommy who is super talented and creative. She had this picture on there from vintagesongbird.com, the pattern she is following to make her own play kitchen for her kid, and her plans to make one herself. It was like it was meant to be! I know I could do it, and it would be super cute, but here is the problem, people! TIME!! Man, I just don't have it! But now that I have seen this picture, I can't bear to buy a plastic one at the store. I want it to be homemade by Mommy. And I know it could be beautiful. So here's the deal: I'm going to do it for C's bday, which is in the middle of April. So that's two months, a week of which I do not have school. That's my goal. I am so excited and stoked to do it now. I guess that means refinishing my hope chest is on hold, but it's not like I was making any progress on that anyway. :o)
